Math, 30 minutes: Geometry, cumulative review of chapters 1-10. Looking to be in good shape to finish the cumulative review this weekend and do the test for chapter 10, on Constructions and Loci. Problems today included calculating segments of a hypotenuse based on proportional relationships created by angle bisectors, the geometric mean produced by leg/hypotenuse relationships relative to altitudes, determining if a particular triangle is sometimes, never, or always acute based on the side lengths and variations on Pythagorean theorem, and proofs of a triangle being 90-45-45 and also segments being in proportion based on similarity.
