Now that I have the CCP under my belt, I am looking to finally finish the A+ certification by completing the 220-1002 core two and also work on the Solutions Architect Associate, to start my march towards completing the Associate certifications for AWS. Based on certain external factors, it has been over a year since I passed the core 1, and at this point, finishing the A+ certification is more about completing what I started. I will definitely be happy to add it to my list of credentials, but the success will feel more symbolic than practical in a sense.
I will be bearing down on the core two with serious intensity, as I plan on taking the test within a month. After I finish the A+, I will continue my endless march towards mastery in networking while continuing to scale the mountain of AWS certifications, with an eye towards beginning my security training sometime this year. Here’s a quick breakdown of how I plan to study for the A+ core two and SAA:
A+ study materials in general order:
A+ 220-1002: Professor Messer core two video series:
Mike Meyers A+ Passport
Jason Dion’s CompTIA A+ (220-1002) Test Prep, Exams and Simulations on Udemy: https://www.udemy.com/course/comptia-220-1002-exam/
